It was a bit hard to understand how Ted could be so attractive to so many women, but seeing him played out made it a bit easier to understand. I wasn’t expecting so many lines directly from the book to make their way out of the actor’s mouths but it was really great how true to the book they were able to keep. It was so true to the book that it was almost comical at times. I was pleasantly surprised by what resulted. I gathered from reading the plot description that the movie only covered the first half of the book which surprised me a bit.
I’d say this one was a pretty solid success as I finished the book less than a month ago and it took a while to find time with how busy I’ve been! It took me a bit to realize the movie had a different title from the book.
I’m making more of an effort to see the movies based on the books I read soon after I finish them.
